Soma 1000
The Soma 1000 is a 1000 Watt wind generator suitable for battery charging in stand-alone power supply applications and for grid connection applications where it is desirable to reduce grid energy use-age, CO2 generation and electricity bills.
With attractive, clean styling, the Soma quietly generates power in wind speeds
as low as 3.5m/s (12.6km/hr or 7.9mph) and as high as 50m/s (180km/hr or 112mph). Designed with longevity in mind, the Soma is a robust machine manufactured in Australia to survive the harsh conditions of our Southern Coastline and can be used either as the prime source of power or as an addition to a solar power system. When added to a solar power system, it helps keep a stand-alone system going during cloudy weather and especially during winter when solar panel performance drops off. Every Soma Wind Generator comes complete with a Soma Charge Controller and dump load.
Typical uses are domestic power supply, telecommunications and any remote power applications.
