Solar Power
Grid-connect systems
These systems are much simpler, requiring very little design effort. The size of these systems is determined by how much of the electricity bill the client wishes to offset, vs. how much they are willing to spend. However much is spent though, these systems are destined to be cost effective due to rising electricity prices, falling solar power prices and government incentives. Most State Governments in Australia now have a Feed-in-Tariff, which means they pay a premium price to the owner for the solar power produced from their system. RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) are also available to help offset the cost of these systems. |
